Toni Francis has recently concluded her last semester for Centennial College's Broadcast and Film Program. While there, she has taken on a number of integral roles such as producer and director of a number of film projects including documentaries and short films. In 2012 she was chosen as director for a Christmas-spirited 16mm short film project, "Under The Mistletoe" and in 2013 she was writer and director of the final film project of the curriculum, "When We Were Young".
Outside of school, Francis has worked on a wide variety of independent projects. In the summer of 2012, she co-produced and directed a fashion film, "Find Me" featuring a dynamic fashion design duo in Toronto. She then followed up on that success with a fashion film featuring designers Heather Lawton and Myles Sexton.
For her debut dramatic short film, Francis produced and directed "Listen" in 2012, which was screened at an annual fundraiser to bring awareness to domestic abuse. This film was shot continuously over a 24-hour span, which speaks to Francis' commitment and dedication to the film industry.
Currently, Francis is co-producing an educational web series that is catered to young people diagnosed with autism and she is also writing a dramatic web series that she hopes to begin production on this summer.
